So i have a 5mm x 10mm disc protrusion at my l5s1 area, i dont have leg pain, i dont have numbness, no tingly feelings, just a bulge or a painful feeling right in the middle of my low back. Im in good shape, (used to be great but sitting around waiting for this thing to heal has made me loose that its been about 7months). Now the pain isnt terrible just very off setting, both my pt and an orthopedic surgeon have cleared me to do gymnastics and parkour(urban acrobatics) again. But im still reluctant because of this pain, can this pain go away, or is surgery the only option i have to get rid of it once and for all.
2 doctors have said im to young to get surgery but it seems like alot of people my age (22) have gotten surgery for back pain with awesome success been told by 2 friends that its was the best decision ever. They experience no pain anymore at all.
So what do i have to do get rid of this pain? these doctors dont seem to no crap, they just tell me I'm to young and wait, i dont wanna wait anymore i need help.
