I am 6 weeks out from an ALIF and have an incredible urge to pop my back. I have popped/cracked my back for literally 26 years (since I began havin pain in HS)
Since I cannot bend/lift or TWIST...I know that popping my back is out of the question #o but I am almost afraid I will try it in my sleep. The popping never really helped the pain, just releived pressure. I suppose it is more habit than anything but I have conditioned myself to pop my back at the first twinge of back pain..
I was just curious if anyone else was a chronic back popper too & has to fight the urge ~X(
