Hi everyone! My name is Robyn and I'm 38 and since July 08 I've had an emergency discectomy (had slipped out and slid down my spinal canal causing nerve damage and drop foot). I've also had a cervical fusion, 2 epidural steroid injections 7 Mri's and a discogram. I'm having a lumbar fusion, laminectomy and discectomy on L3-4 in May.

  • Good to see that you made it here. I also just joined and log in just about every day to check things out. You sure can learn a lot here and most people are very friendly. I'm just wondering about your fusion? They are OCCAISONALLY necessary sometimes not. One of the other members here steered me towards a neat site with A LOT or information about this and just about all spine related topics. The guy has done a ton of research and has a lot of different studies posted. Go to www.ChiroGeek.com and read up.
  • I've just joined in the last 24hrs & people are great! lots of views & experiences to share, good luck with things.!!
