i'm writing this for a friend that has NO health insurance.
she lives in corona, california.
after emergency surgery for a collapsed disc an mri showed a darkened area below where the surgery was performed.
she has been putting her weight/balance on the left leg and now the left ankle/lower calf is swollen and walking is almost impossible.
also, the pain is making her emotionally unstable.

can anyone tell me where i could take her that would accept her w/o medical insurance?

thank you.

  • Any university or county hospital will take her on an emergency basis and/or a sliding scale payments for treatments. With a swollen limb after surgery it sounds like an emergency to me. Please get her medical attention ASAP and worry about the finances later.
