Hi everyone. Glad to have found the board. Write now I am recovering from wrist surgery and have a partial tear of my rotator cuff. I just got the MRI report yesterday. We thought is was a bursitis so I have been doing PT and icing it alternating with heat for 2 months. When it didn't get better they did the MRI.

I am scheduled to return to work on the 12th. Hopefully they will let me work. I see a ortho doc on the 27th. Do they always have to do surgery on these? I am just really tired of surgeries. I just had the wrist surgery and a skin cancer removed tuesday. Just want to feel good for awhile. but the pain in the shoulder won't go away.

I am glad I founds the boards.

  • hi and welcome to the forum! :H we are here to offer you support and answer what questions we can. it is so good to have you here! =D> you certainly have been through alot and i do hope you can avoid another surgery. have you considered a second opinion if surgery is involved? :? the more information you have, the better for your decision making process!! i have bursitis in my left hip and it gets very painful indeed. ~X( i treat it with conservative measures, ice and meds. please make yourself at home and have a look around the different sites! good luck with your future pain treatments!! :D Jenny :)
  • I am not sure if surgery will be your only option or not. Maybe the doc will tell you if there are any other options. Good luck and please keep us posted.
