Pilates after ACDF

Has anyone tried Pilates after an ACDF? Mine was in March 2008 on 2 levels C5-6,6-7.

I'm doing pretty good and would like to try Pilates but worry about the strain on my neck. Any advice?

  • I read recently I think on steady health (since I am researching for an upcoming acdf surgery) that someone said absolutely do NOT do pilates after fusion. It was a lady who said she was stupid and did it and regrets it big time (she put it in CAPITALS). Im sure everyone is different, but I just wanted to let you know. Good luck. Maria
