Hello, everyone.
I've had anterior cervical fusion (c-5 & c-6)May 2008; Degenerative Disc Disease. But, it did not fix the pain. Lyrica helps a lot. Few weeks ago had a CT with contrast, showed new osteophytes at c-5 & c-6, and early degeneration at c-6/c-7, which was not there January 2008! Tomorrow I go back to the pain clinic to decide if I want injections or not.(Medial Branch Block)I'm worried that it will affect my hands; I'm in Art classes & need to be able to draw! I'm pretty disgusted that the whole surgery seemed to help only about 10-20% with the pain.I know there was no guarantee, but I thought I'd at least have some relief from pain for a while!
Nice to meet you all. Leonita
