I hurt my back Saturday while i was folding clothes. I actually felt it give. It was like a puzzel piece coming apart. What did I do? I have no pain in my legs.

There are so many different ways we can hurt out backs. Many of them involve muscles and not disc problems. If this is the first time you have experienced back pain, I would suggest some warm moist heat on the area that is hurting.
Generally, you would use Ice for the first 48 hours after that heat is used. This is just a general procedure and not a firm action. Many people stay with ice longer, so get better results with heat.
See how this helps. After a couple of days and you are still having pain, then perhaps a call to your PCP would be the next step.
Without having any of your past history and just that you hurt your back folding clothes, its hard to provide any more

  • I hurt my back 2 1/2 years ago unknown as what I did. It just started hurting and got more intense overnight to the point I went to ER. How is it today? Where is pain. I am not a Dr, but I do know that just twisting wrong can do damage. Let me know how you are and where your pain is. I am hear to listen and try to help by my past experiences.
