Is is too soon for exercise? How long in a day do you wear the back brace?

Having trouble sleeping sometimes because of pain in my legs. :H

  • Betty, hi!! so glad you are into recovery and everything went fine!! =D> i have no advice post op advice except to follow the doctor's orders. nothing can ruin your recovery quicker than doing too much too soon!! :P please be sure and talk to your doctor if you continue to be in pain. your pain meds should be helping with that. :D continued good luck! it is good to hear from you! • I'm glad you're having less pain than before surgery. Have you tried some heat on your legs? I know the heat helps my legs sciatica, no more than 15-20 minutes though. What did the Dr say about the backbrace? I hope you're feeling better each day. Take care. Charry

  • Remember that the nerves that were compressed pre op will take some time to heal. Good luck and please keep us posted.
  • Hi Betty! Are you having to wear a turtle shell brace? If so you need to keep this on at all times (except for showering or changing clothes), at least that is what I was told when I had to wear one. Best thing to do is keep it on and at your next appt. ask your dr. if it's ok to take off at times. Good luck!
