Brown Recluse Spider Bite

I was watching a show on TV the other morning ( around 3 am) and there was a story about a man bitten by a brown recluse spider and showed all the damage it did. Anyway, I was also bitten by the extremely poisonous spider when I was 15. I was bitten on the base of my spine to the right side of my butt. It was awful. I almost died and was paralyzed from the waist down for 2-3- weeks. ANyway, I was wondering if this could be the cause of the DDD. No one in my family has the decease and I keep asking myself, why me? Did I do something to make this happen to me?

  • hi! :H there are alot of reasons for DDD. too many people have DDD and have never been bitten so i don't think it was from a spider. of course only your doctor could tell you this for sure. :-C it seems your real question is "Why me?" :? we are put here on earth to learn life lessons. for some of us, this means being a pain patient :W perhaps you need to learn patience or humility or hope. i don't know what your lessons are but as you move through life it will become clearer to you as to the reasons and the lessons. :D good luck and don't worry about "why me?" it is so much more important to ask " what do i need to learn?" :D good luck!! Jenny :)
