I’m presently experiencing multiple problems. It started with a pain lower part behind my left knee, I can still put my body weight on it but if I twist it in any way “major pain” funny thing is I did not injure it, that I know of, just on day I walk up with it.
Problem 2) Every now and then my DDD flairs up and a nerve gets affected; this nurse goes from the back of my neck to the back of my right hand, so anything that I touch once again major pain, this flair up is going on its 4th week ,usually these flair up go away after 2weeks
Problem 3 new major pain were my left kidney is supposed to be, its like a pinched nerve when some one presses on the spot I have major pain.
Is this what is mean by falling apart after 50

A little back ground;
I’m a 48yrs old male, I have: cervical myelopothy; moderate to severe pain everyday of my life for the past 12 years,
I was diagnosed with: cervical myelopothy, sever stinosis in the neck, and severe D.D.D ,
At 37 I had to have a lamanectomy from C3 to C7 inclusive, do to herniated discs, affecting my spinal cord. The doctors have made it very clear that there is real nothing left to try, medically. Which means this is it…..
Presently I can not feel with my hands, no sensation, I have pain from my head to my toes. I have been on every type of pain medication and all stopped working after a while
Now I take Lyrica and and medical marijuana
(My advice to the world ,” acceptance, never give up, keep your self occupied . get psychological help, just to put things into prospective. Try to smile)

  • I've had alot of knee pain lately and I'm going for an ultrasound and xray. My referrals are through my family Dr Have you had an MRI lately? Have you tried MS Contin before for pain? It never takes away all the pain but it does take that terrible back and leg pain away except my knee. I'm going to put a tensor around it just now. I hope you find out what's going on and get pain relief. Maybe a referral to Pain Management Dr and NeuroSurgeon but first your Dr should do the MRI. I'm sorry you're having pain where your kidney was. Do you still go to that Urologist? And it's true 50 is the new 40. I'm 48 also. Take care. Charry
