I am due to have a full vertebrectomy to remove the verbrae body and benign tumor. Please could any one advise on this surgery? any other options? recovery time?
Any advice welcome :)

  • Recovery depends on where and how. I had 2 full vertebrectomies in c-spine and would be glad to talk to you about it if yours is c-spine. lumbar is completely different. We really need more information before we can comment. But it does sound awful. It is good that the tumor is benign.

Surviving chronic pain one day at a time, praying for a reprieve because living another 40 years like this doesn't sound too fun!
