I had decompression and fusion lumbar 1-4 my surgery was in october i have much pain and mscontin 15 mg twice a day does nothing for me does any one have close to the same surgery i really would like to talk with some one! Please Help

  • I'm sorry you're in so much pain and your med isn't working. Can you call your doctor and let him know how bad you're feeling? Are you on any short acting meds like Vicodin for break through pain? Sometimes doctors will call in steroids like prednisone to reduce pain and inflammation during a flare.

Why do you have to wait til October for your surgery? That's a long time. Anyway I had a 2 level fusion on L4-S1 because of problems like severe DDD, reherniation of L4-5, nerve compression, and slippage. Just give the clinic a call so that they can help you get this pain under control. Get well soon and take care.
