Anyone had a similar problem to mine? I had 3 level 360 spinal fusion 8 months ago. After the inital recovery I was feeling better than I had in years. No pain and able to move around freely. About 10 weeks ago I suddenly started feeling leg pain, numbness and tingling. Recently lower back pain has been added to the mix. It was so bad that on my recent Florida vacation I had to use a wheelchair to get around the theme parks. I had an MRI and nerve tests done. All they showeed were degenerative disc disease at the level immediately above the surgery ( which I had prior to surgery) and a slight small bulging disc. There is no scar tissue. My surgeon says these problems are causing my pain, but a second opinion from another surgeon says the pain is coming from the area I had surgery on. I have been going to PT and even a gentle massage or minimal stretching exercises are not improving the pain and even making it worse. I am currently taking my second anti inflammatory. I am frustrated trying to find out the causes of my pain. Any suggestions as to the cause and what to do about it?
