A bit of the spinal health track, but still something for all of us to think about.

Everyone has someone that they admire, someone they have looked up to, someone they viewed as their hero.

I know many of us would name someone in their family and I admire that. But for this purpose, lets leave out those answers. It doesnt have to be a real existing or past person, it can be someone from our literature and myths.

Ok, who would you be?

    Hector, from the Homer's ILiad

He was a man of honor, worshiping his family and loyal to the end for his country. A man that was looked up to, was immortalized by so many. A man who protected his family and defended his land and people. Willing to give more than to take.

So, yes, I would be Hector

  • If I could be anyone in the world I would be ME about 3 years ago with NO cervical issues. nothing else different.....Patsy
  • I would be the extremely happy guy you see hanging out on the beaches. YOu know, the one that does not have a care in the world nor a dollar to his name and he DOES NOT CARE!

Or I would be a tour quide somewhere warm, equally not caring about money, just go from day to day and enjoy!
  • Patsy-me too! I would be me before I became gimpy!

But, from literature, I would be Anita Blake, vampire hunter, by Laurel K. Hamilton. She is one tough bitch and doesn't take crap from anyone. She relies on herself to get out of bad situations and can stand on her own. Many "normals" don't understand her or are afraid of her, but she has come to terms with it and almost embraced her differences(and she's embraced a few vamps and werewolves, too.)
