Has anyone been in PT for more than a year without fusion surgery and been able get "better" or less pain?

  • I went to therapy for many years without a fusion. While i was there it seemed to decrease the pain quite a bit but everytime i was released within a month of not going the pain would triple and i would end up going back again.Surgery for me was inevitable
  • I have DDD at L5/S1 and been doing back classes at my PT place for a few months. I go for at least an hour three times a week. This has been helping but I feel it will take a while before I canget better if I work at it.
