it has been 1 year since my last fusion and 2 years since i had a laminectomy on that disc and 7 years since my other fusions. after my first fusion and my laminectomy i never had trouble walking. after my last fusion, i can't even walk 100yds without having to sit or rest. the pain is across the lower back and down both legs to the lower buttock region. i use a cane but it doesn't help. i went to my ortho yesterday but after an hour he finally saw me then he did x-rays and then i waited another 45 minutes so after almost 2 hours, i left because i could not or would not wait. anyway i will call today but does anyone have this problem and if you do has a dr. told you what was going on? we went to disneyland last summer and i had to get one of those mobile wheel chairs to get around. i don't want to spend my life in a chair or unable to walk more than 100 yds in extreem pain. anyone-help-what is going on?
if you have any idea please let me know and i will bring it up to my better than late ortho dr.
thanks for the help
your humble pain friend
