At the advice of my chiro, I'm using a large exercise ball to keep my low back loose, by sitting atop it and basically rotating my pelvis around a vertical axis. Think of someone stretching their neck, but I'm doing it with my pelvis.
It seems to help relieve some of my chronic pain, but for each rotation I also feel a very dull "crack" or "pop" at my L5-S1 (source of pain). I do about 40 rotations, x1 per day.
Should I be concerned about this exercise causing or compounding future potential arthritis problems?
