Just to introduce myself, first I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 20 years, in all my joints. I am currently on all sorts of meds including pain meds (heavy ones), nsaids, prednisone, bio-drugs via infusion, and immuno-supressants. I fell about two years ago, and just got well almost last week, and then, i fell again about a week ago. I am very upset at this point as i think I have now been set back another 6 months.

I figured I would post so that maybe I can get through this setback a bit easier as I am at my wits end. I was literally just about to give up walking with the cane the NEXT physical therapy session and I fall... I just cant do it something.

Thanks for listening.

  • Welcome aboard! I don't suffer with RA, but can certainly empathise with you. There are lots of people who visit this forum that do and if you are not careful, you might make some friends.

This is a great place to come and commisurate with others who share pain like you do or to offer any experience you've had.

Just wanted to extend a hearty welcome to you! *

(* or as in the scene in Blazin' Saddles "... to present you with this laurel and hearty handshake...")
