Hi all! I think as most of you know I was in the hospital for 8 days. I am home today! Yippeeee!! I went into the PM doc last Fri and he said I needed to go the ER bc I was totally incontinent and my left foot had total foot drop. So they did a lumbar MRI and saw nothing compressing nerves. However, they did saw scar tissue does not show on MRIs. SO then I was admitted. I saw a neurologist whose main concern was MS. He did a total spine MRI, a brain MRI and a spinal tap. The final conclusion is that I have a "trauma to the conus" So the lowesst part of my is damaged. There is nothing they can do to help. My neurologist has referred me to a specialist at University of EDITED and hopefully they can figure something out. SO currently I am at a pain level of 7 with drop foot, numb leg and bladder incontenint. However, I am just SOO happy to be home from the hospital and that they ruled out MS.

Meds they started:
Percocet every 4 hrs
Dilaudud pills ever 4 hours
(so I take 2 hr rounds, perc and then two hrs later dil.)
300 mg neurontin 3x a day
10 day prednisone
