i am new here. nov 2007 i had a laminectomy and discectomy and fusion of L4/5. i have had no relief from that except my leg pain did go away. its all back and then some.on june 4th i am having another surgery. this is L4/5 anterior lumbar interbody fusion with allograft.L 4/5 /s1 posterior laminectomy with pedicle instrumentation and allogaft fusion. i am nervous with this one .if anyone has been through this or can give any advice on this it would be much appreciated. thank you nancy


  • I haven't had surgery yet, but my husband has had a fusion. His did not work out too well, but we are all different. I hope that you surgery works for you. I do know that it takes a long time to recover.
