Multiple Back Fusions

Hello Everyone!!

I have been reading the insightful newsletter for over 2 years now, and thanks to this website, I was able to make an informed decision before I had my last spinal fusion.
Just a brief history: I have a triple level spinal fusion. The first fusion was done in November 2000, and it was a front to back fusion, or 360 degree fusion, and I was fused from L4-5 to L5-S1, with 5 screws and 4 Bak cages and 2 plates. Seven years later, I had another fusion, this one was at L3-4 to L4-5, with flexible rods at l2-3. This one also had screws, plates and cages, and I have never been better. I wish that I did not have to have them done, but if I had to do them again, I would, as I am better for having had them done. I have very little pain, unless I overdue , and then all I need is few tylenol and I am good to go the next day. To anyone who is reading this and needs to hear a positive outcome to spinal fusion, all you have to do is read this post. Thank you for listening.
