Hi. I'm not new to back pain, just new to chronic, debilitating pain.
I found out in 2007 at the age of 40, that the back issues I'd had all my life had a source.
I am missing the posterior section of my sacrum; called sacral agenesis. My spinal cord is also too long, it goes down to about my L4. My lumbar discs are degenerated and I have arthritis in my C-spine. My problem is that I don't know what is causing the pain...I also have piriformis syndrome from a fall from a horse which led to my finding all this out.
I'm afraid that surgery is in my future as I have flare ups to bad that my mobility is hampered. I also pretty much just live in pain 24/7.
Anyone have anything like this?
Any advice?
