Re-Herination of L4/5 disc two (2) hours after surgery

AnonymousUserAAnonymousUser Posts: 49,671
Late in May I had LBS at L4/L5 for a badly herniated disc as well as some work on the L5/S1 level. I had a lot of right leg sciatica with tingling from the knee down. Recovery went fine for two (2) hours then just moving my self around in the hospital bed it felt like I had a spasm of my right leg muscle or sciatic nerve if that is possible. It went away for awile and was discharged but the pain got a lot worse. They did another MRI and discovered the disc had re-herniated. Back to surgery 11 after the first. So far so good since the second. I know that re-herniation is a possible complication but I am curious if anyone had this occur that soon?
