Durring my stay in the hospital, I was giving a series of injections. STEROIDS. They were to help me with the swelling in my throat and neck. I am now experiencing some hair loss. My surgery was May 26th. Has anyone else eperienced this. I'm doing quite well except some pain in my shoulder blades and center below my neck

  • Can't say that I lose hair as a result of steroids, but I lose what seems to be a lot of hair, only I never notice it gone! =))

But seriously, I know anabolic steroids can cause hair loss, along with a LONG list of other medications, so who know? It could be anything you are taking or it could be just a change in your diet since your surgery. You may want to ask your doctor about it next time you see him, if for nothing else than to ease your mind.

In the interim, be glad YOU aren't the one that has to sweep or vacuum up that lost hair >:D<
