Edit: Ok, my son has delicately informed me that this was probably the meanest thing I've ever said (actually called me an a$$) :jawdrop: , so I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my original post... He will be missed. :(

  • Don't you know = I saw on the news yesterday that he was taking pain medication!!! I am serious! They said he likely died of a hart attack, but that he was taking "The powerful prescription pain medication called Tramadol".

Now, almost everyone (except my mother and you guys) are on my case about my medication... Well, ok - just my husband, but may as well be everyone.

somedays, it just does not pay to get out of bed...

  • i lol'd at "The powerful prescription pain medication called Tramadol"
    =))
  • Tramadol, OMG, it's so strong...I asked to try it again earlier this year and they would not give it to me. Said it was to mild to even bother....

If I wasn't so depressed I'd be laughing.

I find myself no longer even hearing them when they say "pain killers" on the news. It is so far blown out of proportion. Sure there is a problem, but to label every person who has died while taking pain medicine a junkie is just sad. yeah, sometimes we take pain meds BECAUSE WE HURT! Sometimes people in pain DIE.

Does not mean that one always causes the other.
  • Billy Mays Died of a enlarged heart, and not from a drug overdose....His heart was 500 times larger then a normal heart...
