2 Neck Surgeries and Counting....

*Waves to everyone!*

My name is Stacy, I'm 38 years old from Southern Indiana.

First if anyone in this area needs a good Neurosurgeon i HIGHLY recommend Dr. ABC and his staff at St. XYZ Hospital in Evansville, IN. Feel free to ask me any questions concerning him.

I was in good physical shape until my first symptoms surfaced about 4 years ago. After a MRI, i learned i had a total of 5 herniated discs in my cervical area.

The first two surgeries brought much needed immediate relief, but almost two years later, I am experiencing similar symptoms again.

Basically random right shoulder/arm/hand aches & pains, muscle spasms and weakness in arm and hand. I also have trouble getting to sleep at night, can't get my neck/arm comfortable.

I was told initially that I shouldn't have to have surgery for 10-15 more years, but it seems like the problems occur every two years or so. (?) I am now wondering if another surgery will be around the corner.

It's great to find a place where other people have experiences similar to mine. Through support and understanding comes greater mental comfort!
