I figured, OK well after they cut my neck that's it. Well three days out and I really want to smoke. Throat is getting better and I want to light up but I won't!!!! IT's bad for me and my spine! HELP!!!!!! I want to do this cold turkey and just end this disgusting habit once and for all. The sad part is we've been friends a lot of years and they have always calmed me down. I know in the long run they're my enemy but boy can they calm me down when everything in my life is upside down which is not unusual in my home.

HELP!!!!! I need to stay strong and I'll help who I can do the same!!! Well it's day three and I haven't shot anyone! :)

Humor helps!!!

  • It may sound weird but I think this is a very good time to quit. Years ago, I tried and tried and couldn't do it for the life of me until I had my hysterectomy which forced me to stop smoking for a while. I took the opportunity to quit cold turkey as I recovered from my surgery..CRAZY 8} but it worked. I am so glad I got that elephant off my back <:P
  • I also had a lumpectomy in Feb. of this year and I know the time has come. Thanks for your encouragement.
