Earache, possible cause

Prior to being told I have arthritis starting in cervical 3 to cervical 13, I experienced severe earaches. One earache lasted 30 days. I maid a diary of it from it's severe starting stage to it's dulling point to it's final end. I have never had a severe earache since I visited an Acupuncturist. She has done wonders for all the pain I have gone through with my neck and back, At least now when I feel an earache about to start the medicine I take is able to stop it.

This leads me to my questions, due to the fact an MRI shows I have arthritis starting in cervical 3 all the way to cervical 13, am I wrong to think this is the reason I have earaches? Am I wrong to think I have pain through out my spine, due to the fact there are mornings I wake up hurting through out the spinal area?

Aside from pain patches, it feels good when I am hurting and I wake up with one of my Miniature Schnauzers laying against my back.

I have cervical spine issues along with the ear aches.
I was floored when I went to the doc for what I thought was an ear infection and was told it was due to my neck issues.Doc stated too much inflammation. Steroids always took care of the issue for me. Have you spoke to your doc about the possible connection?
I can also tell you I am 2 weeks post op and have not had another earache since surgery.
