Hello everyone!! I got great news from the doc on Friday. He said x-rays look good and he can see that the bone is starting to fuse. I no longer have to wear the corset and can stop taking the aspirin. I can also drive and start to do some light housework. Thank God because my house really needs it. He said from the looks of the x-ray and by talking to me, he feels that I am way ahead of the game at this point. Awesome!!!

On some of the posts I read about people going back to work within a few months after having surgery. I mention going back to work to my doc and he said that we would look at where I am in April, that’s if I want or can go back to work. He seems to more cautious than other doc’s I’ve had in the past, but that’s ok with me!! I still have a lot of issues with my legs but hopefully they will get better in time.

  • He doesn't want you to work until 11 months after surgery? I hope that is not the case for my doctor. I will see in August at my 2 mth check up. I need to be able to go back mid-August. I hope mine is not so conservative.
