Today is the first day back at work. I am trying to be up beat about this but I do not know if I am going to be able to do this. The surgeon did not want me to return but if I did not I will lose my elig. for benefits. Doctor has agreed to let me do 20 hrs per week and work has agreed to let me keep benefits for another 12 weeks if I work 20 hours per week. I do not qualify for FMLA so I am lucky I still have a job due to the fact that I had only been working for this company 60 days when I went out on sick leave for 3 months. After my 12 weeks are up I do not know what I am going to do. Doctor will not agree for anything over 20 hours for 6 months so I will lose my benefits after 12 weeks. Another hurdle I will have to get over when the time comes. I just hope physically I can do 20 hours without too much stress on my body.
