Femoral Artery

I was hoping that someone can answer a question for me. I am recovery very well after my ALIF and ADR surgery on July 28th but a couple of days after coming home I started having some pain where my femoral artery is located.

At first I brushed it aside as a strain from limiting my movements but now I am confused as to why it still hurts. The pain is not constant but when I put pressure on my left leg or try to lift it the pain kicks in. It's not an unbearable pain but it is starting to concern me. I was going to wait until my appointment on Tuesday but will call my Doctor's Office today to ask the question.

Thanks in advance for any input.
