I'm sure this is to be expected, but as usual I just want to hear someone reassure me.
I started PT on Friday (6 weeks post op), and have had some aching back issues on and off since then. AND I've had some twinges of the sciatic pain just behind my knee.
Should I continue to chalk this up to the fact that I'm exercising muscles that haven't been used in quite a while or even NEVER to the extent they should have been?
My therapist is aware of the achy-ness (not even above a 2), and she's a gentle soul. As I'm doing the exercises, I'm not feeling pain or any indication that I'm overdoing anything, which I take as a good sign. We warm up first, do only 10 reps, and are taking things slow.
