Did anyone here have luck with these injections?
I had this done to me and I havent had good luck with it. I was in excruciating pain for 4-5 days and still didnt get relief.

  • I just had facet joint injections done yesterday and they did an ESI at the same time (both bilaterally). The ESI took away my sciatica completely so far and I only have a slight pain in my lower back. Both were fairly debilitating before today.

I'm sorry they aren't working for you. What does the doc say is your next step?

  • I've had 3 sets of 4 facet joint injections with the epidurals. I found they've increased some movement in my back. I asked if I could get the nerve burning since they helped me and he said thatthis pain clinic doesn't do them. It's too painful to get 2-1/2 inch needles 4 each time. I think that's all for me. I have to get into a hospital pain clinic I wish I would've known this ahead of time. The waitng lists are way too long. I hope they help you more if you get them again. Take care. Charry

  • they increased my pain. I wasted 2 vacation days and the cost for each injection was $1,600. Never again.
  • Hi Laurie,

My first injection worked well but lasted only 2 months. The second one hardly lasted one month. I ended up having to be admitted and had surgery 5 days ago. I hope you have better luck with yours. Take care.
