Just wanted to share that I had my 4 month post op check yesterday and everything is healing well. I have bone growth and am feeling better. I have lost 17 lbs and can walk 3 miles a day. I feel truly blessed. I will be going back to work full time on Monday and am a little nervous because there won't be any more cat naps during the day. Thank you for all of your support. :)

  • Glad to hear it! It's always great to hear positive outcomes!

Take it easy when you go back to work, and I'm sure you'll do just fine!
  • So glad your outcome is so positive! That's wonderful that you taken such great care of yourself!
  • I'm so glad to hear you are doing so well. Hopefully your job will be understanding should you need to take a quick nap at lunch time to power up.

That's great news on the weight loss as well.
  • It is awesome to hear of such a positive outcome! Good for you on losing 17 lbs. I am wishing you all the best on your return to work and remember don't over do it. Good luck! ;)
  • you are doing so well. I went back to work part time nearly immediately, although most of it was done from my couch at home. I would go and get work and bring it home and work on my laptop on the couch while my knees were propped up. The cat naps will definitely be missed. I hope you find that you are comfortable and can take a full days work.

    All the best,

    3 level spinal fusion, L3/4, L4/5, L5/S1, November 2008. Stiff, but I can walk.
