Now my leg is giving out...

Arghhh...I have pretty severe nerve scarring after a failed fusion (PLIF L4/5 2007). The pain in my legs and feet is getting worse and is very different than it used to be. Stanford Pain Clinic has a year long plan to treat me beginning with a caudal epidural, major increase in Neurontin, and other medications if that does not help, sessions with a pain psychologist, possible SCS.
This past week my left knee has given out 5 times. I walk over a mile a day (thanks to my adorable dog Sammy) and do stretching everyday, focusing on hamstrings and hips.
There has been no reflex in my left ankle since after the fusion in 2007 and in the last check, no reflex in my knee as well.
Any Spineys care to comment or better yet experienced anything like this?
Best regards as always
Jackie :X

  • I am so sorry you are having problems with your knee. I injured my right knee sometime ago so I know what you are going thru. Because of my other leg problems I can't walk much.
My knee goes out on me too and I have to use crutches. pooie...I hate that.
    Hope things improve for you.
    Sending you a hug >:D<
