Hi all,

New guy here, chronic pain started after surgery in 06 when I was 18. Basically, along with severe intercostal nerve damage, post herpetic neuralgia, visceral pain in the chest cavity, one (possibly two) of my ribs are completely separated from the costo-transverse/costo-vertebral(connects the rib to the spine) joint and the costo-sternal(conects the rib to the sternum) joint and from what I've been told by a two docs is that it cannot be fixed my manipulation. I'll be seeing a surgeon soon and hopefully he'll be able to fix that part of the problem. I'm on some pretty heavy medications that I'll list eventually...

Also, soon I'm going into pre-med, then med school and majoring in anesthesiology, going to practice in the field of pain management and addiction medicine.

I'm pretty smart when it comes to medications and health problems that cause pain so don't be offended if I correct you or try and question you... just keep in mind I'm not perfect and I'm not a doctor (yet)
