popping noise

Hello all!

I'm 6 weeks today! I'm excited. I was able to go on a vacation with my husband and have been given the go to do light strength training. I go to a PT this Thursday.

My neck and head still feel weird but I'm adjusting to it. One thing that scares me is a few times I've moved my head a little and my neck makes a big popping noise. It doesn't hurt in fact it feels like it loosens it up a bit but it scares the heck out of me.

Does anyone know what that noise is? My x ray showed that all was in good placement so it seems I haven't hurt any thing. I do have a 3 cmm slip that they said my hardware and fusing should support. My mind seeing that being the problem but you know how your mind can come up with all kinds of untrue stories.
