Hey fellow pained people!

I'm Moe, and I had my first ACDF (C4-5-6) in 1993.
Was very uneventful and gave me several years of relief until about 5 years ago. Have developed stenosis in basically all segments of the spine.
Had my 2nd ACDF (C2-3-4) in July 2008.
Chose doctor with impeccable reputation who was renown for his surgical prowess.
But his reputation was not repeated with me.
He failed to perform miserably and now 1 year later I am about to undergo 3rd Cervical surgery, mainly to correct what he failed to do. This one will be much more radical as it will require a Posterior decompression as well.
NS has proposed using a Harms Mesh anteriorly to contain my calcification that causes the stenosis.
Anyone have any experience with the Mesh?

Wish all of you the best of luck.....Be well!!! .....Moe

    Hi Moe

You have come to the right place for support, and possibly feedback from members who have, or are experiencing the same problems as you.
There is certainly loads of information that will help

    Lumber decompression surgery S1 L5-L3[1996]
Cervical stenosis, so far avoided surgery
  • This is a great place to find information. I've had my neck fused and about to have my back fused next Tuesday. I'm sure there is omebody here that can give you advise about the mesh. Sometimes you go to 10 Dr's and get 10 opinions. Surgeopn does great for the nine, but problem with the 10th. They are human to. Praying for better days for you. God Bless!
