Last night I had a really bad night with severe pressure in my low back to the rectum area to the legs? It took hours before the meds even kicked in. I had to lay on ice in bed?? Even moving in bed my husband had to help me...

ALIF/PLIF fusion 8/5/09

  • You are only 2 months out from a 360 fusion. That is a major surgery to recover from. It took me about 1 year after my PLIF to feel "pain-free" (ha ha).

Just a suggestion, call your Dr.
Also, did you overdo that day?
  • Hi Lisa,

My husband thinks I did yesterday ( Over do it )..I had to meet with my daughter's teacher and do some errands..along with doing things around the house..Sometimes I forget and sometimes I think 2 months I should be normal..
  • You said you were 2 months post op. Do you work outside the home? If so, when do you think you will be able to return to work?

Sorry for your rough night- I over do too often and find that I pay for it that night into the entire next day!~ Its just good to feel good again that I forget I have limitations.
    Talk to you soon!
