Hi, My name is Lynn, I'm 25 y/o. In 2001 I was rear ended and my neck rolled over the head rest. I was covered at the time under military health care(which is horrible unless you are the one in active duty) They gave my ib profen and a neck brace. in 2003 I fell and dislocated my hip. I was 18 at the time, they told me nothing was wrong that it was a bruise, after 3 months in severe pain and no being about to leave my bad they finally sent me to a civilian PT. after another 3 months, still in pain my PT recommended a MRI, once that was done I was diagnosed with LDDD in my L1-L5, they gave my oxycotten and other crap that made my feel even worse and caused other problems for me, so now I have LDDD and ostopersois imperfecta. The military told me i had faberosmialga but i doubt it. I have been dealing with the pain my self, taking flavored powdered magnesium for my recurring spasms, it sometimes helps the mild ones. My dad was diagnosed the year before I was, and had his L4/L5 fused. I only make $300 a month and have no insurance, so its hard to find help, especially in Savannah, GA. I have a pretty good internal pain tolerence but if i bump something it hurts like hell. I attending a program at arrowhead clinic now, he took x-rays and for the first time ever i got to see them, i saw that there was no curve in my neck, how twisted my spine is, and how out of wack my hips were. I've missed 2 days of work and college from spasms and this is my last chance to attend college.
Well that is me and problems, how are you doing?
I hope to find people who can help me deal with this issue or help me find (real! non-military, non-idiot) help. thanks!
