My pm says he's positive that fibro is one of my problems, but, in his own words, does not like to diagnose patients. My pcp is not proactive in any sense of the word, in fact, pretty much everything that she's done has been at my suggestion, due to my research. I know that fibro is hard to diagnose, as there is no specific test for it, but what are the different tests? What should my pcp be doing? She doesn't deal with spiney chronic pain patients regularly (being a contracted doctor for the military) and really has no clue when it comes to diagnostic testing, except to refer for MRIs and then specialists. What should my next step be? Thanks in advance for any and all input and advice.
