hi i am glad to find this forum and lern about somes many pain that i have, for over years. i will have in november a anterior discectomy fusion c5.c6.c7.i dont know how danger is this surgery, and it will help me in my neck pain, shoulder, back, leg, thank you

  • I am glad that you found us. You will find many caring supportive folks here and lots of folks with experience in the same type of surgery that you are having. It seems that the most important thing is to have full confidence in your surgeon and his abilities. It is hard to face any type of surgery but I think more so whan it comes to our spines. Try and focus more on the relief that you will hopefully get rather than the fear of the surgery. Anxiety can really raise our pain levels. Good luck and keep us posted.
  • hi and welcome to the forum! :H we are here to offer you support and answer what questions we can. so glad you stopped by.. be sure and check out the "Back and Neck surgery" forum or "Neck Pain, Cervical", for some good input on your procedure... good luck and keep us informed. :D Jenny :)
