On sept 9, 2009 revison of L3, L4, L4 and S1 due to fusion failure from surgery on 1-9-08.Still have lower back pain, increases if I overdo. Should I have so much nueropathy in my right leg and bilateral toes. Went to therapy but I was paying for things I could be doing at home. Still using pain meds atleast twice daily and tired all the time. using a external bone stimulator, has any one had luck with this product? Any information is helpful. thanks

  • I can't even imagine having to go through this twice in nine months. No one can say for sure if the pain you're having is normal, because it's different for all of us. I had surgery nearly a year ago and my right foot is still mostly numb. I do still have some sciatica, but not nearly to the extent I had it before surgery. I pray your fusion works this time. I didn't need a bone growth stimulator, but I know several people here have used them and had good luck.

    3 level spinal fusion, L3/4, L4/5, L5/S1, November 2008. Stiff, but I can walk.
