New to spine-health, old to neck pain

I'm scheduled for ACDF C4/C5 and C5/C6. It's been a year plus of hellish pain: physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, trigger point injections (upper back pain horrific), steroidal injections, RF cervical facet ablation. I developed radiculopathy (throbbing pain in my right hand) and decided it was time for surgery. By the way, the posture pump was something of a miracle when I developed acute radiculopathy in the middle of the night. With only a few pumps, the pain started draining from the hand. A miracle, if only short-lived.

That's me. Lots of disc degeneration (osteoarthritis), blockage of the spinal nerves, etc. Lots of drugs: Celebrex and pain meds.

Any advice on getting set for surgery?
