I have moderate to severe middle back pain for almost 2 months now. I have had some tingling on my spine also. I have had an x-ray and an MRI. My doctor's office called me today and said the MRI was negative but they would fax them to a neurosurgon who would call me to make an appt. If the results from the MRI are negative, then why am I seeing a neurosurgeon? The only way I get relief from my pain is to lie down. It is constant whether I am sitting or standing, and sometimes stabs when I laugh or yell or something.
