I had PLIF surgery at L5-S1 on Sept. 23, 2009. I am less than 3 months post op and my life has been given back to me! I have recovered at an almost alarmingly fast rate. My kids had almost never known me to be pain and narcotic med. free....But they do now, and I feel like a different person!

There are success stories out there...I know I was hestitant to have such a major operation at my age (32) but I am so glad I did my homework, got many opinions and had a supportive family to help me make the leap.

I also had to fight insurance compaines and denials for this, but I am so glad I persisted.

the highlight of my news...I am going back to University next month to finish my degree!!!

What a ride!
