Is there anyone else on Morphine daily and do you find it works? I feel like its doing nothing for my pain....Its so frustrating. My pain level tonight is at least an 8. Is there anything anyone has found that better than Morphine?

  • Just a thought, when I had my surgery and had the pain pump that I controlled, it was really not very helpful, hit the button get the Morphine and relief lasted about full five mins, then was 10 mins before I could get another dose. They changed the dosage, still with same effect. One of my nurses said the morphine really is very short lived when used this way and she got percocet prescribed every 4 hrs which did wonders. So could you be having same problem and need dosage changed or meds changed completely. I hope you get some relief soon, being in harsh pain is so disheartening and depressing. It really just wears me down.
