Hello all-

I'm a 38yo male who went in for a partial microdiskectomy to treat my herniated disc btwn. L4 and L5 last week.

They ended up removing ALL of the disk, they told me, but no fusion was done. Is this possible? Can they just leave air in this disk space without an problems?

I have a follow-up appointment on March 1, but thought I'd post to see if anyone knows the answer to this question.
