newbie venting

Hi Newbie It's been nice to be able to relate to others. two years since told I have DDD L4L5 arthitis back and hips.six doctors from ortho surgeon, nuero surgeon, primary care, pain specialist,rehab, shots,pills, suffering they all said same thing shoulded be in that much pain,should be able to live with it,your to young for surgery,rehab should of helped, epadurals should work. and to no surprise i'm back to square one. thanks for the site and reading me venting

  • Welcome to Spine-Health. I'm glad you found us and have new friends who can understand what it's like to have spine problems. All of us are suffering from something having to do with spine problems so you shouldn't feel alone.

    It sounds like you need to find the right doctor for you. I'd suggest a fellowship-trained spine surgeon, ortho or neuro, but someone who only works on spines. They're the ones who do whatever they can to find what's causing the pain and what treatments to try to help you.

    I see you've also posted elsewhere, so I won't go into any more detail, but again, welcome to Spine-Health.
